This Tankini Bathing Suit has to be one of the most flattering 2-piece swimsuits I have ever worn. The sizing guide is a bit challenging - I simply purchased a size larger than I usually wear (I got the large.) I would have probably been fine in the XL as well, which is where my measurements set me, but I like a tighter fit since swimsuits loosen in the water and over time.

For reference, I wear a size 10/12 usually, or size Medium US size, weigh 175-lbs give or take a few, have a 36C chest and size 32-34"waist. I also have "mom-bulge" and am in my mid-forties.

The swimsuit did have some hanging threads I had to cut off, but once I got this on I didn't mind. The bottoms look like granny bottoms but they cover my backside really well and fit perfectly. Often with 2-piece swimsuits I find I need to purchase separately because the top and bottom for a size never work. In this case, the fit was as good as a one-piece swimsuit. I like the coverage at the side chest area and my chest fits well and isn't inclined to have embarrassing slippage.

The rouching on the front is flattering. I do not think this is a swimsuit for those with a lot of extra weight carried in the lower half of the body, those individuals do better with a loose, flowing skirt. I am probably on the far end of the heavier builds that will look good in this, it really needs a fairly tight body to be attractive.

I really struggle finding a suit I'll feel comfortable in. So, when I saw this one, I jumped on it. Wanted something that was still cute, but was able to make me feel good in it too. The suit goes down just enough to cover my behind. It has enough support in the front too. Material bunches up on the front to slim your tummy down. The bottoms are your standard bikini bottom. But not cheeky. I feel like they are a full bottom. I am pleased with how it fits dry. Hope it still fits well when wet. For reference, I'm 5'5, 155Ibs.

This ended up being super cute. I'm 5'4 149 lbs 38 DD. My tummy is where I hold my weight. This is flattering and sexy. I added a little bling with a super cute turtle broach and it's just perfect. My husband loves it! I got a medium first and there was side boob spillage so I reordered a large and it was just right. If you're bigger chested, you may want to size up. Not your gma's swim dress. It allows those of us that like a little coverage to have what we need without looking like you raided Mamaw's closet.

Purchased the retro swimsuit and so far just trying it on I love it. I'm a 54 year old woman weighing 140 lbs, stands 5'4' and was wanting a swimsuit that had a little bit more coverage on my lower half (thanks hormonal weight gain !) The top is lightly padded and fits great as I am a 34c. I love the rouching/gathering in the tummy area which makes for great tummy coverage, I will say it does not have a lot of tummy support but still works for me. As for the skirt it just covers the back end without being cheeky just the right length for not looking frumpy. Love that it is lined as well. Time will tell as for how it wears and washes but for the great price it's all worth it without having to buy a $100 swimsuit. Also this suit is two pieces, bottom and top. The size I purchased was the medium, fits great! Love it!

LOVE this swimsuit! It's cute and fits well. I like that the skirt actually hits just below the butt. Some of these skirted suits just have a ruffle but you're still hanging out of it. I wore this to a group pool event and it was cute but family-appropriate attire. I wish it had just been a halter top though. The criss-cross back looks nice but isn't necessary and leaves weird tan lines. That's the only thing I'd change about it.

Loved this from the moment I put it on! It's comfortable, cute, and good quality- very silky material! It fits true to size. I usually do a halter top and mini skirt or swim shorts, but this one piece mini dress is very flattering with the ruching and ruffle. It has high waisted bikini bottoms too. I'm 5'0, so you can see that it's not as short on me. I'm in a small, for reference. Good luck finding a great suit! This is my winner for 2024!

I'm 5'4 1/2 and weigh 158 lbs. The tie in the back allowed you to tighten it to your comfort. I feel pretty and comfortable and the color is stunning. I feel like the front kind of hides some of my tummy I don't like. It covers the cheeks in back nicely too.I ordered XL because bathing suits usually run small. I could have done a L, but glad I did not, I can tighten to fit. Very nice suit.
